King's Story

Hi, I'm King. I'm new to the shelter so I'm still a little shy, but I'm a very sweet boy. My previous home described me as very friendly, affectionate, and a total lap cat. They said I love to snuggle and sleep in bed with my person! I was very loved in my previous home, and came to the shelter at no fault of my own. I need to be adopted with my sister, Tiny, as we are bonded. Come meet us!

Great River Rescue's Adoption Policy

Cat Prices: $106.60 +tax (we do not accept checks for adoptions) Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (feline distemper), de-worming, flea/ear mite treatments, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, a pre-registered microchip, and in most cases a Rabies vaccination (this takes coordination from our veterinary partners). Upon request, we can conduct blood tests for an additional fee of $15. Dog Prices: $208.57 + tax (we do not accept checks for adoptions) Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (canine distemper & Bordetella), de-worming, flea/tick treatments, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, a pre-registered microchip, and in most cases a Rabies vaccination (this takes coordination with our veterinary partners). Upon request, we can conduct blood tests for an additional fee of $15.
