Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. <br/><br/><br/>The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.<br/><br/><br/>KING ARTHUR and his siblings (SIR LANCELOT - SIR PERCIVAL - VIOLET MORGAN - QUEEN GUINEVERE) were rescued from a HORRIBLE hoarding case in Riverside, California. We know they are all related because the horrible human woman, kept letting them mate. When the Rescue Mama found out she took action. But we know for sure that these 5 kittens are siblings.<br/><br/><br/>As of FEBUARY 2026, 98 cats have either gone to other rescues or have been saved by us. You will know who these cats are by their names. They have all been named after the show "Once Upon A Time". Despite his difficult past, this little warrior has blossomed into a playful, affectionate companion who’s eager to find a loving forever home.<br/><br/><br/>Originally rescued from a hoarding case in Riverside, California, KING ARTHUR has shown an incredible resilience and strength. He’s overcome so much already and is now looking forward to a future filled with cuddles, playtime, and all the love he deserves.<br/><br/><br/>KING ARTHUR is a social butterfly who loves attention and is always eager to receive pets and affection. Whether you’re sitting down for a moment of relaxation or playing a fun game with him, he’s always by your side, ready to share his warmth and companionship. He’s also totally fine with being picked up and carried, which is pretty rare for a kitten his age — it just shows how trusting and sweet he is!<br/><br/><br/>This little guy has a playful streak that’s sure to keep you entertained. From chasing toys to pouncing around in little bursts of energy, he’s always ready for some fun. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)<br/>2. Fill Out Online Form<br/>3. Submit Online Application<br/>4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview<br/>5. Will be notified of Approved Application<br/>6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)<br/>7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>8. Sign Adoption Contract<br/>9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)<br/>10. Take the Kitty Home<br/><br/><br/>********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP**********<br/><br/><br/>VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. <br/><br/><br/>Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 10 am to 12 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 7 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 4 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 2 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are the same 2-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays.<br/><br/><br/>******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ******************<br/><br/><br/>The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below: <br/><br/><br/>****Please note we only have cats physically in MURRIETA, INDUSTY and WEST COVINA ONLY. No one is available to take calls. ************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California.
