King's Story
King is a seasoned, deaf gentleman who would prefer to spend his retirement snoozing in a warm chair and cataloging the neighborhood birds from a window. While he spends most of his time curled into a sleepy ball, he really gets some pep in his step at meal time. He has been known to complain to the wait staff when dinner is running late, but he generally appreciates a nice meal accompanied by friendly chatter. King had a rough start and he was so ready to leave outdoor life behind when he was rescued. He would do best in a home without small children or other pets; where he gets to soak up all the love (and treats!) you have to give. If you want to meet King, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.
