Meet Kimmie
Update June 19th , 2024 - Kimmie has moved to the Pet Valu, 1 Wilson St corner of James St N in downtown Hamilton. go pay her a visit. Please read her bio, requirements for adoption and if you think she would be a good fit then go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form.
Kimmie came in to our rescue a few weeks ago. She had been abandonned over a month before by someone evicted from their apartment - concerned neighbours brought her in after 3 weeks and they have just rescued a 2nd cat. Kimmie has been flea treated, dewormed, received her FVCRP and rabies vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. She is a very sweet, loving, purr machine once she gets used to her new surroundings and environment. She will need some time to feel comfortable. Recommendation is to start her out in her own room with food, litter and toys til she gets to know you. Once that happens she is a lap cat, will roll over for tummy rubs etc,. She was not a fan of her foster mom's other cats so she may just shine on her own or with proper introduction another non aggressive feline. . AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy.
