Kiki **FIV+'s Story

Kiki came to the rescue with her baby, Stevey, while we were assisting with a TNR project. This little lady is estimated to have been born in October 2023. She unfortunately has had a number of litters of kittens before we were able to take her in. However, Kiki is just the sweetest girl. She loves attention and loves to be petted. She tolerates her Stevey and his kitten ways but she would be fine being the only princess in a home.

We believe this little lady will do well with any family. Since she has been with us, she has not been around dogs but we believe she will do fine with proper introduction.

Kiki is FIV positive and while this will not effect her ability to live a long, happy life, the disease is transmittable to other cats (through severe bites). FIV affects a kitty's immune system and although Kiki is not currently exhibiting any symptoms, this could change as she gets older. This disease compromises a kitty's immune system, making them more prone to upper respiratory infections.

If you are interested in giving Kiki a home, please go to www.betterdaysanimalleague.org and submit an adoption application.
