Kiki 2.0's Story
Kiki is a large, handsome, 4-year-old gentleman with gorgeous, short white fur and bright yellow eyes who came to HART in May 2025. Kiki is deaf, so new environments can be scary or overwhelming to him, and he is gradually learning how to adjust to shelter life. However, when his room is calm and low-activity, he enjoys coming up to people for pets and flopping on the ground next to them. He does have a tendency to get overstimulated, and he has been known to swat if he is startled or needs to establish his personal space. Kiki would do best in a calmer household with cat-savvy people who understand his needs and can safely accommodate a deaf cat. He would not be a good fit for household with children. Since he tips the scales at almost 20 pounds, our Medical Team recommends gradual weight loss for Kiki through a sensible diet and gentle exercise. He will likely need future dental care to keep him healthy and happy.
