Kiki's Story

Name: Kiki
Age: 4 years (DOB 5/20/21)
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Status: FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus Positive)
Spayed: Yes

Meet Kiki – a gentle, affectionate soul who has waited far too long for a home of her own. Rescued from a colony while pregnant, Kiki didn’t always know what it meant to be loved. But thanks to her foster’s patience and care, she’s blossomed into a biscuit-making queen who adores gentle pets, warm laps, and quiet companionship.

Kiki is FeLV+, so she needs to be either an only cat or share a home with another FeLV+ feline. This condition does not define her – she’s healthy, happy, and just as deserving of love as any other cat. She’s been living in a single room for over two years now, watching the world go by from her window, always waiting for someone to see her.

Kiki is one of many cats left in foster care after the closure of Lost Paws Animal Rescue – without the backing of a rescue, but still very much hoping for a future.

She’s sweet. She’s special. And she’s been waiting so long.

💌 If you have a quiet home, an open heart, and space for a cat who will give you endless love in return, please consider giving Kiki the forever home she’s been dreaming of.

📍 Apply to adopt Kiki: https://form.jotform.com/252665188166164

Lost Paws Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for looking to adopt a cat or dog! We get many emails, applications and PetFinder Inquiries every day. As volunteers who also have families and full time jobs, we cannot get to them all immediately. Please allow 5-7 days for a decision to be made. Some animals get more applications than others which will make the process a bit longer. Lost Paws Animal rescue adopts and fosters within a 2hr radius of Raritan, NJ. Rare exceptions are made on a case by case basis to take into account any special needs an animal may have. When you sign the application, you understand that omission of information and/or failure to answer all questions and sign the application can result in the application being declined. Upon submission of the application, you give the rescue permission to investigate the information provided, including conducting a background check, as well as contact veterinarians and related officials. The adoption decision is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to the compatibility of the family and home to the individual pet, and other applications received on this pet. It is the rescue's sole prerogative to decide which home is most appropriate. It is our goal to place pets in loving, lifelong homes and any information gathered is used only to that interest. A member of our Adoption Committee will be in contact if you are approved.
