Kiddie's Story

Have space in your heart and home for a gorgeous senior tortoiseshell? She may be the softest cat you've ever pet!

Don't let Kiddie's age fool you; this adorable and downright irresistible cat has it all going for her. She just needs a new place to call her own after her previous owner sadly passed away.

She is a charming girl and keeps her foster laughing! Kiddie wants affectionate pets when requested and will tap you with her paw until you scratch her forehead. And she is always at the door to greet you when you get home.

She's a sweetie with an independent side, too, making a great, low-key companion. Her foster describes her as "soulful with just the right amount of sass." Her love language includes giving little love nibbles. She also prefers to sit close by on the sofa, but isn't big on cuddling (although she will take head scratches for days)!

Kiddie has a few diagnosed senior health conditions that will need to be monitored in her new home. She has early-stage kidney disease and started on a special diet for that. She also has what's commonly referred to as pillowfoot, which is an autoimmune condition of the paw pads that is treated with a daily oral medication.

Kiddie will go home with a 3-month supply CARE PACKAGE including her special diet and medications!

If you're looking to spoil a senior pet with a fabulous home, Kiddie is your girl!

------------------------------------

This cat is currently located in a PAWS foster home. Please email their foster parent at iamamydurand@gmail.com to learn more about them!

In order to meet any cats in foster care, you will need to have an approved application first. To get the adoption process started, please submit an adoption application online at phillypaws.org/catapp.

If you have any questions for our adoption team, feel free to email adoptions@phillypaws.org or call 215-238-9901 ext. 30.
