Khaleesi's Story

Khaleesi is a gorgeous buff-colored cat who is slowly learning to trust people after previous adopters were less than kind to her. Although she isn’t comfortable around kids, her gentle and calm demeanor makes her the perfect companion for adults who enjoy a peaceful friend by their side during TV time. She is an independent cat who does not need other cats for friendship allowing a human to take their place. A devoted couch potato, Khaleesi is eager to settle into a loving home where her quiet companionship can truly shine. She is litterbox trained and fully vaccinated and is chipped.<br/><br/>Born December 2021

Weatherford Whiskers's Adoption Policy

Adoption forms are online and then are reviewed by a committee. If approved, then the entire family is asked to come see the cat(s) that they are wanting to adopt so that the staff can observe that the entire family is committed to this adoption. Then formal paperwork is signed and the process is complete. Can take up to 2 weeks for this process to occur.

Our Mission

Weatherford Whiskers is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue group. Our cage free facility has 5 rooms of free roaming cats with access to a catio for safe outdoor enrichment in 3 of the rooms. We rescue high risk cats and kittens from our local shelters. Once rescued, we place them in experienced foster homes...
