Kewpie 's Story

Kewpie has a silent meow after days of crying to be let inside during the Winter she hasn't been able to get a squeak out. She is the sweetest most affectionate baby and her poor little paws are all raw from the cold. She is 3 years young and gets long great with people and other cats. This girl would crawl inside of your skin if you could. Absolutely lapcat love bug. Very gentle and mild mannered.

She comes fully vetted. Kewpie doesn't love being around other cats but doesn't bother them unless they are in her space. She would be alright with one other kitty but prefers all your attention to be on her. This sweet girl sleeps in my armpit every single night and loves to snuggle. She also has a hilarious way of hopping into bed which involves greatly overestimating the height of the bed and landing on her back feet after all 4 legs are airborne.

Kewpie was recently diagnosed with crypto-coccus which is a disease of the fungal variety in her nose. It's caused by coming into contact with infected pigeon poop. We only found this out after the day before her adoption, her nose started swelling up. She has been on medication for months and has greatly improved but she will have periods of her life where she will have to be on a daily oral med. She takes it very well and doesn't hide from it or run away. This cat is so very special to me and reminds me so much of a cabbage patch doll. She has a thick head and thick body with the weirdest little facial expressions. She hugs you when you pick her up and is a true blessing to be around. I would keep her if I didn't have so many cats in my home. She will make someone very very happy if they have the patience for her medicine. We love Kewpie and want her to have someone who sees how unique and wonderful she is.
