Keva's Story

Keva is a semi-socialized cat who is about eight months old. She has been around humans since she was a kitten, but she does not allow anyone to handle her. She will run when scared. She gets along well with other cats and would do best in a home with one other cat her age. She cannot be handled and needs lots of space and hiding spots. She has become more used to people and has the potential to be socialized.

Ryerson Valley Rescue's Adoption Policy

We require all adopters to fill out an application and sign a contract that stipulates that any animal must return to us if they find that they do not want it anymore. All animals require an adoption fee and a home visit before they can be placed.

Ryerson Valley is an Autistic & Queer led non-profit cat rescue based in Akron, OH. We rescue community cats and owner surrendered cats. We assist the community with TNR and financial assistance for those who cannot afford vet care. We are a safe haven for cats. We cannot and do not accept any other animals.
