Keppra's Story
ABOUT KEPPRA!

Meet Keppra, our handsome gray man! This sweet boy was brought to HAP after a good samaritan found him on the side of the road, having what we now know was a seizure. Because of this, and coupled with the fear he had been struck by a car, our vet team was quick to assess him. While monitoring him, he continued to have seizures on and off, so he was placed on an anti-seizure medication and sent to one of our amazing fosters who continued to monitor him. After a few months of being seizure free on his medication, he's now ready to find his forever home!
Keppra is a very sweet, gentle boy, who loves nothing more than being curled up in a cozy bed! He lives a very relaxed life, full of treats and snuggles, just the way he likes it. He will play with his toys or a kitty friend, but only after his naps!

*Keppra gets along very well with other cats, but we do recommend calm kitties to match his personality! We don't recommend dogs or children, as he can be timid.

*Keppra is currently on daily medication for his seizures. It is a pill which he gets twice a day, which he can take crushed in his food or by mouth with a pill popper!

*If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
