Kenji's Story
On a 90-degree day in June we found a tiny tabby kitten clinging to the rafters of a dog kennel in the exercise yard, staring down at a 60-pound dog below him. Fortunately, Beau, the dog in the kennel, loves everyone, including small cats. We have no idea how the kitten got there, but we retrieved him from the rafters and rushed him to the veterinarian. Apart from being overheated, dehydrated and covered in fleas, the kitten, whom we named Kenji, proved to be healthy. Kenji is now thriving in a foster home that includes dogs and a senior cat. He loves to play, is fascinated by soap bubbles and feathers, and is ready for a forever home. He is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
