Thankfully, her finders were willing to foster this little family, and now Kellogg is ready to leave her outdoor life behind and find a cozy, loving home of her own.<br/><br/>Kellogg is an absolute sweetheart who loves being petted, receiving affection, and spending time with her people. She enjoys sitting on laps and doesn’t mind being held or picked up. She’s also playful and has been a wonderful mom to her kittens, Frosted Flakes “Frankie” and Apple Jacks “Jackie.”<br/><br/>And if her personality wasn’t adorable enough, Kellogg has an extra-special feature—she’s polydactyl! Those precious extra toes make this already special girl even more unique. <br/><br/>Kellogg has done well with dogs, cats, and children, so she could be a wonderful addition to many different types of families. She enjoys both wet and dry food and is doing great with her litter box.<br/><br/>Because Kellogg has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), she will need a home where she is the only cat, or where any other cats are appropriately vaccinated against FeLV. FeLV is contagious to other cats and can shorten a cat’s life expectancy, but it does not change the fact that FeLV-positive cats can be loving, happy companions. If you have questions about FeLV or what life with an FeLV-positive cat looks like, please reach out to us—we’re happy to help!<br/><br/>Kellogg has received her age-appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, spayed, microchipped, and given monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She will go home with copies of her available medical records, microchip information, adoption contract, and helpful information to make her transition as easy as possible.<br/><br/>After everything Kellogg has been through, she deserves a family who will give her the peaceful, loving home she’s been waiting for.
