Katya's Story
Katya is a young adult calico with a remarkable story and an even more remarkable spirit. She first came to us as a fragile baby kitten in July 2025, abandoned in poor condition, and though some of her siblings didn't make it, Katya fought hard and grew into a bright, social girl. She was adopted as kitten, but later found roaming the streets by city animal control, and once again we welcomed her back. When she arrived she was covered in ringworm, but after dedicated treatment she's healthy, happy, and ready for her true forever home. Katya is outgoing, playful, and endlessly friendly, an affectionate companion who greets life with resilience and joy. She's ready to meet the family who will cherish her as much as she'll cherish them.

To view other cats or kittens available for adoption at Valley Animal Center, please visit https://valleyanimal.org/cats/. You may also find Valley Animal Center's adoption application there. Once you submit an adoption application, a cat care associate will review it and follow up with you as soon as possible.

Her adoption fee is donation based (choose your price) and includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, de-worm, flea treatment, and microchip ID.
