Meet Katy!<br/><br/>Katy is a young cat, born around July 2025, and her heart is every bit as beautiful as her story. Katy was rescued from the streets of Paterson after a kind woman witnessed children kicking and abusing her. Unable to leave her behind, she stepped in and brought Katy to safety. Thankfully, Katy's difficult days are now behind her.<br/><br/>When Katy was rescued, she was severely underweight and struggling to survive on her own. With proper care, good food, and lots of love, she has blossomed into a healthy, happy girl. Despite everything she has been through, Katy has remained incredibly sweet, friendly, and trusting. She absolutely loves human attention and will happily curl up on your arm while soaking up pets and affection. She also enjoys mealtime and is always excited for a good meal! <br/><br/>Katy is litter box trained, well behaved, and has a wonderful disposition. She has spent time living on her own and is now learning to socialize with other cats. She continues to make great progress and would do well with a patient introduction to feline friends. She would likely adjust well to a dog and is expected to do well with children. Most of all, Katy loves people.
