KATIE's Story
Katie is back from foster and at the shelter waiting to meet her forever family!

Introducing Katie – A True Class Act

According to her foster:

“Katie is the PERFECT houseguest. I cannot say enough good things about this cat. Within two minutes of arriving at my house she was a complete purr box and immediately started snuggling.

She has even sat on the couch with me and one of my dogs without blinking an eye.

She is also toddler friendly! All this girl wants is LOVE. My 3-year-old and almost 2-year-old niece pick her up, pet her, jump on the couch around her—typical toddler behavior—and Katie is not bothered by any of it. She just lays there patiently waiting for pets.

I think she would do well in a home with kids or other animals. She’s the perfect balance of cautious and curious. My dogs are not friendly toward her, but she has figured out where her safe space is and stays there comfortably.

She is neat with her litter box, perfect for nail trims, and allows you to pick her up. She currently receives oral medication twice daily and takes it like a champ. She’s also had eye drops and ear drops and handled those perfectly as well.

I truly think she will love any home where she can get her pets and naps in. She loves sitting beside you on the couch. I honestly cannot say enough good things about her—she is practically perfect in every way.” Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives.
