Katie's Story
Katie came to GM when her owner could no longer care for her. Katie is the mom of four adult kitties that came with her. Katie seems to feel safest and happiest when curled up in a cat bed or hidey-house with her daughter Roxie or another quiet kitty. Katie was very shy in her previous home and it took her awhile to adjust to shelter life. But with a lot of patience and attention from our volunteer Kitty Buddies, she is doing much better. You can pet her if you go slow, but she will need a very patient adopter willing to work with her and give her time to adjust. She probably will never be a lap kitty (but she may surprise us!) but she still deserves a safe, loving home. Three of her children have been adopted and while they were also shy, they are doing great in their homes. So we are very optimistic that Katie will as well! Because Katie and Roxie are very bonded, we do not want to separate them and they must be adopted together.

Katie is part of the Kitty Keeper program!

Katie is part of a bonded pair with Roxie.
