While she may not like too much handling, she enjoys gentle pats and being brushed. We think Katie would appreciate a quiet home where she can nap, lounge, and enjoy attention from her person. This cat’s new family should have a relationship with a vet so that they can continue to have her health conditions monitored by a professional. If Katie sounds like a good fit for you and your home, please stop by to meet her Katie is currently up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick preventative, has been spayed, microchipped, and examined by our vet team. Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
