Katia & Snow's Story
Katia and Snow are a bonded pair of female cats, very lovely in appearance. Snow is a Lilac Point Siamese and Katia is more like an American Shorthair. Katia loves to embrace you with a warm hug, paws around your neck and Snow, a little more reserved is none the less a sweet, loving girl.
Their story is that Katia was rescued a cat living on her own outside that someone wanted to rescue, she wasn't very social at that time, more frightened, but in time she became one of our most demonstrably affectionate cats. She had a narrow escape during her spay when deceased kittens were still in her womb but fortunately they were removed in time. We had no idea she was even pregnant!
During Covid she was adopted to a young couple. Just recently after several years we were asked to take both cats in as they were divorcing and had no place for them. That was how we got Snowy, who was not spayed and I would say neither cats had been taken care of properly.
Their adjustment to the shelter was tough, they were both depressed which often happens when cats are reintroduced to a multi cat environment after being in a home. They were given their own space and slowly over time they began to adjust Now both cats are doing very well as the pictures show, they are beautiful and truly love each other. They a well mannered, refined cats who would be a lovely asset to any home.
Please email: friends@heavenlypet for an application and more information or text Laura at (641) 919-1289 Applications are also available on our website at www.heavenlypet.org
