Hello, it's Katia (aka "Katia the Magnificent " or "Elvira, Queen of Darkness "). I was born around 8/2022. Here's my story and I'm sticking to it. When Kitten Angels took me in I was a bit overwhelmed, I had previously had to compete with other outside kitties for food and shelter and the exposure I had had with humans had not been positive in nature. And although I am ashamed to admit it,I gave my foster mom a bit of a hard time, but with time and understanding we have figured out what will be best for me.I LOVE food and my food motivation is the way to bond with me and teach me to trust you.I like affection from humans but on my own terms, as too much petting can get me overstimulated and I might have a "Wild Kingdom Moment" and go after your arms or feet.For this reason a home with cat savvy parents, without children or other pets is best so I can feel secure in my surroundings. I am hoping that just the right person(s) will read this today and even if I am not the perfect match for them, share it with family or friends who might be. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
