He came out at night to eat what he could find and the neighbors knew him but he was shy and kept from getting too close. <br/><br/>We came in to help and trapped him. He was afraid but sweat. He is FIV+ (not a death sentence at all.). He is still quiet but loves pets and quietly waits his turn to be petted. All pets are cared for in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted.<br/><br/>We require a home visit as part of the application process. We are only able to coordinate home visits where we have local volunteers.<br/><br/>All of the cats in our care and available for adoption have been rescued from shelters, the streets or from neglect or abuse situations. We do our best to determine the given breed or breeds of any cat or kitten in our program based on our experience and advice of professionals.
