Kat's Story

All Kat wants for Christmas is a forever home!

Hi! My name is Kat. Please don't overlook me just because I'm an adult black cat. I have so much love to give and am such a good girl!
My fur is super soft, which is great because I love to be petted - I'll even thank you by grooming you back. If I want attention, I like to roll around on my back and side like an adorable baby seal, or I'll nuzzle and head-butt you while looking longingly into your eyes. Relaxing on the couch or in bed? I'm there cuddled up on or near you. My purr is loud and proud!
Before I came to be with my foster mom, I was not being given the care I needed and was almost hairless. My fur grew back quickly once I was treated with flea medication, kept inside-only (and able to relax - I was so scared outside), and given a clean bowl for my water and food each day. I got picked on a lot by other cats when I was living outside, so I get a bit defensive with other cats until I find out if they're nice or not.... I can still be a bully sometimes though, so my foster mom says I may do better as an only cat, or with a very friendly and laid-back cat that will make me feel at ease in my new home.
I so badly want to go to my forever home for Christmas. Can you make my dream come true? I will love you forever and be the best cat!

Kat at a glance:
- Location: Milton, FL
- Adoption fee: $50
- Spayed female
- 4 years old
- Litter box trained
- Up to date on vaccines: FVRCP and Rabies
- Up to date on flea prevention

Adoption Application: https://nwflcatadvocates.com/adopt

If you have any questions, please text or email Hannah Listle:
Text: 360-621-4080
Email: nwflcatrescue@gmail.com

Our Mission
We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for homeless and abused cats so they can find their forever families. We often take in "misfits" - cats that are not the most social initially, but who have so much love to give once they trust you. We always take the time to get to know each cat's unique person...
