Kat's Story
Meet Kat – Your Discerning, Hilarious, Horsey-Bouncing Companion!

Kat is a nearly 3-year-old spayed female with a clean bill of health—FELV/FIV negative, fully vaccinated (FVRCP & rabies), and microchipped. But what really makes her special is her one-of-a-kind personality.

Kat may come off as reserved at first, but once she trusts you, her true self comes out—and she’s absolutely hilarious. Her favorite party trick? When you rub your fingers together and call her name, she’ll bounce over like a little horse and bop your hand for head scritches. It’s affection on her terms, and it’s adorable.

She’s wicked smart and has excellent taste—she knows who she likes and who she doesn’t. Kat would thrive in a quieter home, ideally with a mature person who lives alone and is looking for a loyal, entertaining, and deeply rewarding feline friendship.

Kat prefers to be the center of attention but is open to sharing her space with the right companions. She previously lived peacefully with a small dog—a sweet bichon/maltese mix—until her canine friend passed away at 17.5 years old. She could also coexist with another respectful cat, though her true preference is to bond closely with her chosen human. She loves laser toys, interactive puzzles, and anything that earns her a tasty treat—she’s super food-motivated! Bonus points if you have a catio or sunny windowsill, because basking in the sun is one of her greatest joys.

If you’re looking for a smart, sassy, and affectionate companion who chooses you, Kat might just be your perfect match.

If you're ready to meet our sweet Kat:

Please fill out the adoption application and we can schedule a meet n greet!

**Copy and paste the below link into your browser.

https://forms.gle/mxoY3tnrvzHucTMr9

"Filling out the application doesn't mean you're obligated or guaranteed to adopt a cat.

"I do not own a cat" is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to saving animals.
