Karl's Story

Karl is a handsome young boy with a playful spirit and a heart full of gentleness. , He was found as a stray but has quickly and happily adjusted to life as an indoor cat, showing just how adaptable and loving he can be.
Karl adores companionship and would thrive in a home with another cat to play with. He especially enjoys following around the 17-year-old resident cat and politely invites him to play. What makes Karl extra special is how respectful he is—when his older buddy has had enough, Karl listens and gives him space, proving he has excellent feline manners.
He is incredibly soft and enjoys nighttime snuggles and gentle rubs in between his bursts of playtime. Karl has the perfect balance of kitten energy and sweet affection, making him a wonderful companion for someone who wants both fun and cuddles.
While Karl is still getting used to the resident dog, he’s not bothered by her and confidently lets her know when she’s too close with a polite little bop on the head, showing off his polite but playful personality.
Karl is ready to leave his homeless days behind and settle into a loving home where he can enjoy playtime, cozy snuggles, and a cat buddy to share life with.
Karl was born in February, 2025.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Karl, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com.
