Karen's Story

*Due to technical issues with the Petfinder site, inquiries made through the "start inquiries" button are not received. Please email us directly to inquire about available cats*
The email is at the end of this Bio.

Karen is 6 months old and the most gentle, incredibly loving kitten.

She purrs and makes biscuits while she eats and loves to be held on her back like a baby. She spreads out with her belly exposed around the house too. She has never swatted, hissed, or growled at a human and is unusually trusting and affectionate with everyone she meets.

She was very small and sick when she was found, and spent her earliest weeks tucked into her foster mom's shirt . She still loves that closeness, and wants to be right up against your chest and neck as often as possible. She gives kisses while gently holding your face with her paws and is the best snuggle cat around!

Karen needs a lot of human interaction and closeness and would not be happy if left home alone for long stretches of time. She does entertain herself playing and enjoys the usual kitten fun with toys, but when she realizes that she hasn't seen you for a while she will cry from the other room and come looking for you.

She gets along well with other cats and kittens and would do well adopted together with one of her foster siblings, as an only cat with a lot of human affection, or with an equally mild tempered, gentle friend. She is very submissive and would not pair well with a dominant, strong personality. She is still quite scared of dogs and would prefer a home without them for now. Karen has sensitive eyes and doesn't do well with strong perfumes, air fresheners or smoke.

Adoption donation fee is $150. For adoption inquiries email:
chandraeubanks@yahoo.com
