Karen

Karen is our BIG, body-positive girl. She loves deeply and bonds super close. She is a lap cat that just wants to sleep with you, crawl up on your lap, have an unending food supply, and communicate with her human partner. <br/>She is a truly unique find. She has extra claws growing upward out of her paw pads, which is super cute, and does not negatively affect her. She needs free feeding, as even with her full figure, she has a clean bill of health. Without free feeding, she gets anxious and scared she won't get enough, and will scarf and barf because she's so afraid it's going to be taken away. <br/>She needs someone comfortable with always having kibble available to her and who does not do limited feedings, despite her size.<br/>She needs a little help by being brushed on her back half because it's a little difficult for her to reach, and will help avoid her getting little matts. <br/>She is best as an only cat with someone that can give her time because she isn't into sharing, but is into loving. If she has peace of mind that there's enough food and space, she will cohabitate with others, she just gives the occasional hiss - no different that human siblings!<br/><br/>We are a Christian based organization with a Mission to Improve the lives of cats. We specialize in cats that will bond closely, but would otherwise 'age out on the shelf' because they are shy, or need special understanding. Without, they would never know the love, safety and comfort of a furever home.
