Meet Kami.<br/><br/>Sadly, this beautiful, 7 year old girl has been returned to the shelter twice. Each time, she lost the home she thought was hers—and each time, it’s made her a little more unsure of the world around her.<br/><br/>Kami struggles with anxiety, and when she feels overwhelmed, it can bring out her more defensive, aggressive side. Her previous guardians truly tried to help her, but in the end, her behavior became too unpredictable for the homes she was in.<br/><br/>What we’ve learned is that Kami’s world needs to be small, calm, and consistent. She needs to be the only cat, and she would do best with just one dedicated human—someone she can fully trust and bond with.<br/><br/>We’ve started Kami on medication to help ease her anxiety and give her the chance to feel safe and understood. And underneath it all, she *is* a beautiful soul—a stunning Tortie who deserves a life where she can finally relax and just be herself.<br/><br/>Kami isn’t looking to share her kingdom—she’s looking to be your Queen. 👑<br/><br/>We truly believe there is one special person out there for her. Someone with patience, compassion, and a big heart.
