Kaleidoscope's Story
Kaleidoscope, or Kalei as her foster mom and friends call her, is a nearly 3-year-old torbie fluff with a heart as big as the sky and a spirit even brighter. Though she’s blind, Kalei doesn’t see the world as limited. In fact, she sees it more beautifully than most, with curiosity, confidence, and pure joy. Like the shifting patterns of her namesake, she makes every day feel full of color and wonder.

Petite in size, with a short tail she whips back and forth in excitement, Kalei is overflowing with personality. She greets new people like old friends, eager for love, headbutts, and maybe even a few purrs. It’s hard to believe this sweet girl once came to us shut down and scared. Now she’s crafted a world that’s all her own, where everything is new, fun, and worth exploring. And explore she does. Kalei runs, plays, climbs, and chases her foster kitten friends with fearless joy. She’s especially drawn to wand toys with bells she can follow by sound, darting after them with delight. You’d never guess she’s blind watching her confidently zip up and down the stairs or leap onto the couch just to curl up next to you.

Kalei adores affection. She’ll purr by your side, press her head into your hands for more scritches, and nuzzle you just to say, “You’re my best friend.” Because she grew up without other kittens, she sometimes plays a bit rough with hands and may give you a playful nibble, but it’s all part of her charm. Kalei would thrive in a home with a calm, friendly cat companion, or she’d be just as happy as your one and only, spoiled and cherished like the rare gem she is.

Blindness doesn’t define Kaleidoscope. It just adds to her magic. If you’re ready to open your heart to a truly special girl who sees with hers, Kalei is ready to light up your life with every step, purr, and joyful swirl of her colorful world

---

Submit an Adoption Application to be considered:
https://www.tailshigh.org/home/adoption-application/

Completing the application does not guarantee it will be approved.
