Kai

Kai is one of those cats that is the perfect snuggle buddy. He was one of 5 boys that were hand raised due to being abandoned in a warehouse when they were about 2 weeks old. All of his siblings were adopted within a few months but Kai had various struggles that continued to hold him back from adoption. After months of working with our vet Kai received a diagnosis of feline asthma. We are working with our vet to ensure Kai's condition is managed so he can lead his best life!<br/><br/>Kai is one of the sweetest boys around, he loves to snuggle up with his foster family. He will ask to be held and loved on. When company comes over he isn't shy and will also gently pat people to get their attention because he wants all the love he can get! When he is feeling well he loves to chase around wool balls, and he loves to talk! He will talk and chirp as he runs around playing. He is also the bestest big brother and enjoys wrestling with his foster siblings. He will also groom them when it's time for a cuddle session.<br/><br/>Kai does take his inhaler very well, he is patient as he takes two inhaled medications. It takes about 2 minutes each treatment. We are still learning how to best support him, sometimes that means adding on an oral steroid to support during asthma flare ups. <br/><br/>Kai is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and deworming. He will come with his aerokat inhaler and inhaler medication that we have on hand for him.
