Kabocha pulled through like a champ. <br/><br/>Just as he was bouncing back, he faced another life threatening hurdle: a urinary blockage that required emergency PU surgery. <br/><br/>Once again, he beat the odds.<br/><br/>Despite his medical challenges, Kabocha's spirit remains bright and full of life. He is the epitome of a wonderful kitty, and we believe he will make an incredible companion for the right family.<br/><br/>Today, Kabocha is thriving. His bloodwork looks fantastic, he’s off all medications, and aside from possibly needing prescription food (we’re still figuring that out), he’s a totally normal, happy go lucky cat living his best life.<br/><br/>But don't let that adorable face fool you, this little fighter has a spicy side too, which he desperately needed to fight through all of the setbacks that got him here.<br/><br/>Kabocha is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and triple tested negative for FIV, FelV, and heartworm disease. While we can't quite say what his future will look like medically, right now he is doing great and would love to break out of the shelter after the year he has had. <br/><br/>Kabocha is friendly, outgoing, and full of love.
