Justin

Justin is a wonderful combo of affectionate and self-sufficient. He’s good at entertaining himself while you’re at work and will greet you at the door upon your return. He’s a sucker for a good back scratch or ear rub. He’s not an active cuddler and instead likes to be where you are, following you from room-to-room just to sit next to you. Calm and easy going, when he’s had his fill, he’ll just walk away. Justin enjoys sleeping with his humans so please don't deny him that pleasure. He’s very food motivated and most entertaining when he’s chasing down a tossed treat. He does not like dogs and is unpredictable with other cats. Justin would be best as your only pet so he can be in charge. He doesn't have any history with children. He will be shy initially in a new space, yet once he relaxes will happily greet your friends at the door. Justin was rescued from a cat colony in the Bronx. The TNR group planned to release him post neuter (hence his fashionable clipped ear) but he was so good with people they contacted Anjellicle Cats. Justin is FIV positive and has asthma that is well controlled with an inhaler. He doesn’t love the inhaler, but will take his dose with cradling followed by a treat. FIV cats can enjoy just as long and healthy a life as non-FIV cats with good nutrition in a safe, loving home.
