Just Raisins

Searching for a playful, loving kitten ready to bring some adventure into your home? Look no further than Just Raisins! Affectionately named for his simple-minded demeanor, we like to think that what you would find inside Raisin's brain is simply "just raisins".

If playtime is the name of the game, he can be found exploring a new corner of your home, winning over his next animal friend, or chasing his imaginary friends from room to room. There truly is never a dull moment with Raisins around, so be prepared for silly chirps and "Halloween kitties" at any given time. But don't worry, he has lots of cuddles to bring to the table too. Raisins will instantly melt in your arms, giving slow blinks and air biscuits as he gets the motorboat purrs going.

With Raisins being such a happy-go-lucky guy, you wouldn't know he had a rough start to life. After being found stray, we noticed Raisins was incredibly skinny and underdeveloped for his age. With his unusually small size and other odd symptoms, it was deduced that Raisins had a liver shunt, which is very rarely seen in cats. That said, it always remained clear that Raisins has plenty of zest for life! With some medications and a special diet, he is asymptomatic presently and steadily putting on weight. Raisins will need a home that is willing to continue with his medical management and establish care with a specialist for further treatment in the future. But Just Raisins is ready to take on anything that comes his way with you by his side!

So if you are ready to give some extra TLC in exchange for boundless love and silliness, adopt Just Raisins! The combination of his resilience and sweet goofball personality will inevitably win over anyone he meets.

This kitty can go home with a 3-month care package of his medication!

------------------------------------

This cat is currently located in a PAWS foster home. Please email their foster parent at adoptions@phillypaws.org to learn more about them! In order to meet with any cats in foster care, you will need to have a fully processed and approved application first.
