Juno-Must be adopted as a buddy cat's Story

Meet the happiest cat on three legs you'll ever see...Juno!

Juno is a 6-month-old tabby kitten who loves to play. He runs from one end of the house to the other, climbs the cat trees, and races through the cat tunnel. When he’s tired himself out, he’s happy to stretch out on the couch.

When Juno was found, he had a limp, though no one knows how he got it. The vet said he had a dislocated hip and a fractured tibia. The volunteers at Annex got him the care he needed, and his ended up having his back left leg amputated. These days, he runs, climbs, and plays just like any other cat. He is completely comfortable and confident on three legs.

Juno came from an outdoor colony with his brothers and sisters. He was always one of the kittens following the others around, and he still does that in his foster home. He loves being close to the other cats, especially when they groom each other. Having a cat friend means a lot to Juno, so he’ll need to be adopted with another cat or go to a home that already has a resident cat.

Juno is still a little skittish around people, so it’s best to let him take his time. If you see him relaxing on the couch, you can go over quietly and he’ll often cuddle right in. He especially loves a good scratch behind his left ear, since he can’t reach it with his back left leg anymore. It’s a sweet way to get to know him and show him how nice people can be. Juno would do well with a quiet household that would provide him the time he needs to blossom.

Like all ACR cats, June is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites. His left hind leg has been amputated due to an injury.
