June Bug's Story
June is a sweet & sassy senior (approx 8y) looking for her great escape!
Found in a ditch in the spring, she was weak and thin. After a few months getting weight on her, it was discovered that she had a mast cell tumor on her forehead which was removed and biopsied, totally benign and no further care needed!

If you have it in your heart to give this girl a soft, quiet place to land, it would mean the world to her. She loves a good brushing and is very communicative as to what she likes and dislikes. She was fine in her short term medical foster with other cats and a pushy german shepherd trying to investigate. As long as she has a perch next to you to snooze on she is happy as a clam!

Unsure of children, the only real quirk June has is she can be mouthy when she's had enough petting or she doesn't want to be picked up. A home with people who are cat savvy and honor her clearly communicated boundaries would be the perfect fit. If you have that, she rewards you with so much affection :)

https://jefferson.seamlessdocs.com/f/preadopt

**June, like all of our other cats, is indoor ONLY.
The average life span of an outdoor feral is two years. Outdoor cats are subject to these same elements and risk a distressing death.
Please speak with Kim, the shelter manager and the town's ACO, for more information regarding this.
