Jumper's Story

Eight-year-old Jumper is a petite, gentle, and grey-and white cat with a heart of gold and a personality that will fill any room. Her foster parents say that Jumper loves to snuggle up on the couch with them and that she's quite playful for a middle-aged girl. Jumper was surrendered with two other cats. Although she peacefully coexists with them, she doesn't appear to be bonded with them, so she could be adopted with either of them or as a solo cat. We have not yet observed her with kids or dogs, but we think she's likely to get along with them if introduced properly because that's how most cats are. Like nearly all cats, Jumper would do best adopted into an interactive home with lots of playtime. Jumper is an easy cat who would be suitable for a first-time adopter looking for a devoted, loving companion for life.

Jumper has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. Her adopter will receive her medical records. She’s being fostered in Methuen. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee of $145, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. Cats can live up to 20 years, so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting. Please email Safercats11@gmail.com with your phone number and a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Doing so helps us match cats with the right adopters.
