My name is Juliette! I'm a petite brown tabby with beautiful green eyes and a bit of a tummy. I'm estimated to be about 2 years' old but that's just a guess and I could be a little older. I am a sweet, chill girl with an confident, but mildly sassy personality. If you're doing something, chances are I'll be nearby hanging out to observe or rub against your leg (unless I'm napping). While I'm not a snuggler or lap cat, I like affection and respectful pets. I'll hang out near you on the couch and sleep on your bed at night when I feel the urge. Sometimes if I don't want you to leave or I want your attention, I'll tap-tap-tap you on the leg. I'm not much of a talker but I do purr when being pet, and sometimes I'll meow if I want something or I'm excited about a toy! I get along really well with other cats and dogs and I've adapted to the others in my foster home very quickly. I like to head butt other animals affectionately. If a dog is annoying me, I will also give them a light tap-tap-tap to make sure they stay in line! I'm typically unfazed by dog shenanigans but they can make nice couchmates. I am okay with being picked up for short periods with purpose but otherwise I prefer the floor, thank you very much. One of my favorite things to do is play with bird toys. I also like batting balls and mice around and looking out the windows. On rare occasions I get the zoomies and jump out at other animals or play with another cat, but it's short-lived. I am often intrigued by movements on the TV and would love watching nature documentaries or cat TV channels on youtube with you. I have literally watched cat TV for hours! I am fine with kids as long as they are respectful when petting me. I am 100% litterbox trained. I eat wet or dry food - maybe a little too much. I could probably afford to lose a little weight! I know I'm not a super snuggly cat, but I'm smart and otherwise very social and I make my foster mom laugh. Believe it or not I just had my one-year anniversary in rescue (between Oklahoma and Wisconsin). It's probably because I tested positive for FIV at my vet checkup. That means I could be more sensitive to colds or infections, but otherwise FIV+ kitties can live normal lifespans and live with FIV negative cats. I can still groom other cats and share food dishes and water with them. (This is not to be confused with FeLV which I do NOT have.) But people don't know much about it so they pass me by. I know that eventually someone will want me because I'm a really good girl who would fit in many types of homes.
