Juju's Story

Juju Just Wants His Person Back. ?????

Juju’s story is one of love, loss, and longing. He was adopted from us as a kitten in 2017 and lived a quiet, cozy life with his person—someone who rarely left home due to health issues. Juju got used to constant companionship. He was never alone.

But everything changed last year when his adopter passed away, and Juju came back to us, heartbroken and confused.

Now 8 years old, Juju is adjusting the best he can—but shelter life just isn’t the same. He craves connection. He wants to be part of every moment. Whether you’re reading, cooking, or working on your laptop, Juju will be right there, chatting with you, napping nearby, or helping in his own quirky way.

He’s talkative, sweet, and loves high perches for long naps. He plays when the mood strikes and kneads biscuits like a pro. He can live with calm cats, but truly thrives as a solo companion.

Juju does have some anxiety, which he expresses through over-grooming and chewing plastic, so he’s currently on a prescription calming diet and daily fluoxetine (an anti-anxiety med). In a peaceful home with someone around often, we know he’ll flourish and maybe not even need meds.

He’s not looking for much—just a quiet home, a warm lap, and someone who understands how deeply a cat can love.

Think you might be the one Juju’s been waiting for?
Apply here: nose2tailcatrescue.org/adopt
(Not all applications will be approved.)

All of our cats are fully vetted—spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped.
