Meet Judith

Judith is a 2 and a half year old spayed female, lynx point with tortie, Siamese/shorthair cat.

Judith came from a tough situation. Though initially shy in her foster home, she has learned that she doesn’t need to jump at every sound and noise. She has blossomed into a cat who enjoys hanging around her foster parent as they work from home. One of her favorite spots is right on the desk where she can keep an eye on her human and catnap!

Judith prefers to sleep during the day and look out of the window at cars going by. She likes to have company and will come and find you if she's alone and hears you are in the house. She talks by saying, "Meh-ow" which is a response to "Judith?" That's "hello" in Judith speak. She loves catnip and all toys that hang on a string. She also has a rock she likes a lot, not sure why, but the rock and her enjoy playtime whenever the humans release it from under its hiding spot.

Judith will show you her belly to entice you, but beware - it's a trap! No belly rubs for Judith or you might find it difficult to get your hand back.

She seems to get an upset tummy when she is stressed and may vomit.

Judith does not like being held much and is not much of a lap cat at this time.

Judith has built confidence over time but is still unsure of new things. She needs time to adjust before she decides to let her guard down. Judith has just started to come out to the living room at night to sit next to her favorite person. Right now she just likes to sit next her human in cat loaf formation.

Judith will play with her favorite toy; the bouncy mouse on a string, as long as you want to. She likes to pretend she's uninterested until the toy lets its guard down then she will about face very quickly and slide in for the attack. She is very playful once engaged!

Judith is very mellow most of the day, however she seems more active at night time, like most cats. She's chatty and enjoys talking to her human. Catnip will activate turbo kitty!

Judith likes to find a calm, quiet place if company in the home gets to be too much for her.

She seems to do well with the medium-sized dog in her foster home who respects her space.

However, she tends to bully the other cats in her foster home, so we believe she would be very successful as an only cat in her forever home.

Judith has an allergy to fleas and a single flea bite will cause an allergic reaction that makes her itch and over groom. She needs to be kept in a flea free environment and have a monthly flea regimen to keep her skin healthy and her happy!

Her adoption fee is $175.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, negative for FIV&felv, and have been treated for parasites.
