PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email.

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

JUAN CARLOS and 12 other relatives of his were all dumped at a church in Whittier, California. These poor babies were left in the sun in a total of two carriers in front of a church. Needless to say, the rescue mama set course that day to pick them up. It took us 2 days to get them all to the rescue and to foster care.

So JUAN CARLOS (named after the show: WYNONNA EARP) we believe was kept very well by whomever abandoned them. With all the tragedy that has happened to this young boy and his family, he deserves to have a wonderful home. He is now been living a nice pampered life.

Meet JUAN CARLOS, a reserved yet endearing young feline with an irresistibly sweet face that tells a tale of yearning for love. This little charmer is a bundle of quiet sassiness, wrapped in a sleek, soft coat that invites gentle pets and warm embraces.

At about over a year old, JUAN CARLOS has already shown a preference for the finer things in life, like his beloved can food, which he savors with a gusto that's both adorable and heartwarming. Despite his initial shyness, JUAN CARLOS comes alive during playtime, especially when toys are involved.

Though he's quiet by nature, JUAN CARLOS has a sassy streak that peeks through his demure demeanor, hinting at a mischievous, spirited heart beneath his tranquil exterior. He's spent time with his feline family, learning the ropes of social interaction, and now he's ready to bring his sweet, understated charm to a forever home that will embrace him as a cherished member of their family.

JUAN CARLOS's gentle spirit and love for engaging play make him a wonderful companion for those who appreciate the tender moments of bonding over a game or sharing the tranquility of a quiet evening. His love for can food and toys promises many joyful interactions, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Are you ready to open your heart to JUAN CARLOS and let this sweet, shy boy show you the depth of love and companionship he can offer?

JUAN CARLOS is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU-TABBY MIX. He is 1 year and 4 months old He is good with cats. He has never been around young children or dogs. But he does seem very curious about dogs.

JUAN CARLOS is currently at a foster home in Hemet, California.

in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue

in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue

in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue

or any PETSMART near you!

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available to take calls. *************

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached patient.

JUAN CARLOS is ALREADY fully vetted.
The adoption fee of $200 covers:

FVRCP shots
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.

If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!
