Joyce, Beverly, & Susan

Meet Joyce (Calico and White) and her two daughters, Beverly and Susan (Orange and White), a bonded trio looking for their forever home together. Beverly and Susan look a lot alike, so sometimes it is hard to tell them apart. Beverly has more white on the left side of her mouth/nose area.<br/><br/>As they came into our care as grown adults last year (June 2020), we are not sure of their ages, but suspect that Joyce is between 4 and 5 years old and Susan and Beverly are a bit younger as we suspect they are Joyce’s kittens. Beverly and Susan also had kittens of their own when they arrived and all of these kittens, save for two, have been adopted. <br/><br/>When Joyce came into our care, she also had older kittens and she was pregnant. She gave birth while in our care, and her younger kittens were adopted into loving homes. Now it is her time to find her forever home with her two daughters, Beverly and Susan. <br/><br/>When they first came into our care, they were all very shy and avoided all contact with their foster human and they would hiss and run and hide under the bed. Beverly and Susan continue to avoid their foster human and will hiss from time to time, but they do come out from their hiding place under the bed for soft food and treats. They love watching the bird channels and looking out the window watching the birds when their foster human is not in the room (she can watch them via a camera).<br/><br/>Joyce, on the other hand, now loves to be brushed and purrs for her foster human. She will even roll over for belly rubs. She seems to really enjoy back scratches, face rubs, etc. She may hiss now and again when her foster human approaches too fast. She also loves treats and soft food. <br/><br/>They all had cat colds while in our care and required medication at some point. However, that issue has seemed to have been resolved, but Joyce does have a runny left eye from time to time.<br/><br/>They need a quiet home without children as they are still quite timid and shy and fast, loud movements startle them and make them very uncomfortable. <br/><br/>They have not had any experience with dogs or other cats while in our care and have only interacted with each other and their kittens.<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting Joyce, Beverly, and Susan please contact us at frederictoncarma@gmail.com. <br/><br/>As of October 2024 the adoption donations will be:<br/><br/>- Adult cat (over 12 months): $125<br/>- Kitten (12 months and under): $200
