Joy-Joy's Story
If only Joy Joy could tell us her story! What we can tell you is she came to the county shelter for spay along with her kittens in 2018. The kittens all found homes and she was given back to her care giver. Fast forward.... Joy Joy was pulled from horrific conditions, living a "hoarder house" in North New Jersey! The rescue found a chip being traced to Cape May County and the shelter gladly took her back. Joy Joy was underweight, very dirty with one toenail, horribly ingrown causing swelling and pain. She is doing really well and looking better daily. We estimate Joy Joy at 9 years old, and ready to find a clean, quiet loving home where she will be safe and enjoy life!<br/><br/>The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting.
