Joy's Story

I'm a sweet 7 yr old spayed female who was surrendered by my owner, along with my sister, Hope. We had to leave our home because our owner couldn't take us to her nursing home. All I know is that my sister and I were terrified and didn't understand what was happening. Since I have more confidence than Hope, I had to protect her and hold her tight so she would be ok. After taking a while to feel safe, I started asking for attention. I'll run right toward you with little hesitation so look out! I love to have my face rubbed, it even makes me drool a little! I don't mind being around the other kitties but I mostly just care about my sister. I don't know if I've ever met a dog, but I have a feeling they would scare Hope. And, since I want to spend the rest of my life with her, that's probably a bad idea. I like to observe everything around me and I like to cuddle up in the window too, so a good window seat will be required! Hope and I dream of finding a safe and loving home with humans who have a comfy couch to share!

My bonded sister is Hope.
