Joy's Story
Joy is a cat who will need a dedicated owner to help overcome her fears of humans. She was found as a terrified stray with her kittens who were equally as terrified of humans. Joy does not hiss, or swat, or show any aggressive tendencies, she just squirms away from human hands. We have been able to pet her and get a purr out of her before, therefore we believe that with some work she will come out of her shell but unfortunately is not thriving in the shelter environment. A quiet home without other animals or children would be best to help her come out of her shell.

If you are interested in adopting Joy, head to responsiblepetcare.org and fill out an adoption application.
