Josie's Story
All hail, Queen Josie! This super fun yet elegant queen is ready to grace the presence of her furever family. She loves sunny window sills, watching TV (just about ANY show!), playing with her feather toy, wrestling with her catnip pickle, and rubbing on literally anything and everything. This regal lady is ready to retire from motherhood and embrace her role as the one-and-only pampered cat in a calm, loving home.
Josie was very shy and nervous when she first arrived at her current foster home, but she settled in quite quickly. She loves sitting on laps for attention but does not want to be picked up. She has the cutest little meow – you wouldn’t know she’s an adult – and loves to show off her beautiful, white-brushed tabby coloring by rolling on the floor to show off her beauty.

She loves being petted and will also let you know when she’s done. She is a bit protective of her back and near her tail when it comes to pets but absolutely LOVES being ‘petted’ there with the stick on her feather toy. She also recently discovered she likes faucet water. She jumped up on the bathroom counter and tried to turn the water on. (Seriously!) Her foster Mom turned it on low, and Josie proceeded to drink and play in the water for nearly 30 minutes. She’s such a beautiful little weirdo.

Fans of the TV show “Friends” know that Joey doesn’t share food. Well, Josie doesn’t share attention. Period. Her furever home needs to be where she is the only pet. And while she’s progressed significantly in foster care regarding noises (she didn’t mind the shower the other day), her furever home should be with adults or older children only as loud noises or sudden movements still spook her a bit.

Think you’re ready to share your home with the gorgeous, silly, fun, loving Josie? Fill out an application today!

To meet Josie, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TTRC/Cat

Estimated DOB: 04/16/2021

Josie's adoption fee is $175. She has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for felv/fiv, and vaccinated.
