With motherhood behind her, she’s ready to focus on herself. She’s an independent girl who prefers her own space and would thrive as the only cat in the home. She’s currently on a weight-loss journey and will need an adopter willing to keep her on track with a healthy routine. A quiet home with someone who appreciates a more aloof companion would be ideal for her.<br/><br/>Can you imagine walking through West York only to find a cat in active labor? Well, that's what happened on one spring morning for one woman! She noticed that Joliet was about to give birth and took it upon herself to give her a safe place to have her litter. She brought Joliet inside, where the mama cat gave birth to six beautiful kittens! She was grateful for the save and treated her kittens with the upmost care and love! However, now that her litter is grown up, she's ready to find a home for herself! <br/><br/>Joliet is a quiet kitty who is still learning how humans work. She's a bit anxious around people, but she's slowly warming up to her foster family. However, she does have a curious and gentle nature about her that makes her a treat to watch sometimes. There are times where she even shows off her intellect that can surprise anyone!
