Johnny's Story

Here's Johnny!! This guy was a hungry stray found wandering rural Wisconsin. A Good Samaritan managed to catch him before winter began. During his vet visit, he was treated for flea dirt and ear mites found on his fur. He was scared, dirty and needed to be neutered.

Johnny is approx. 1-2 years old. He has acclimated well with three other cats in his foster home. He is gentle, non-aggressive, and extremely loving. He's learning how to play with cat toys along with his foster siblings. He loves scratching posts & once in a while needs to be redirected away from furniture. Johnny has a good appetite and is on a wet food diet for urinary health reasons. Though he was a hungry stray, he's learning to stay off kitchen counters and not beg for food.

Johnny is getting used to indoor life and hasn't tried to dart out of the house but his foster mom is careful with outside doors. He loves to be held and walked around the house to look out windows. He is friendly with visitors and has perfect litter box manners.

Johnny is great company and a good buddy to have around. A patient & experienced cat person(s) would be great for this sweet guy. He would love to meet you!

To meet Johnny, please email: savedbyawhiskerrescue@gmail.com

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out.
