John & Lee (Courtesy Listing)'s Story

John & Lee are 13.5-year-old brothers who are very bonded and must be adopted together. Both are declawed on their front paws. They would be great for someone who wants a pair of buddies to sit with while reading or watching TV. They are playful too, and enjoy the cat toys on strings.

While they are affectionate and cuddly, they are reserved and would do best as the only pets in a quiet, adult home or in a home with older children. John & Lee are short hair orange & white boys who are current on vaccinations and are neutered.

They are Courtesy Listed cats which means this pet remains with their family while up for adoption. Their owners, who love them very much and have had them since they were kittens, are sad that they feel they must re-home them so that they will have a happier home life. Their owners have 3 young children (5 & 3-years-old and a 1-month-old infant). The cats are frightened of the children who are too active when playing and thus the cats stay hidden all day - fearful of coming out of hiding.

The adoption fee for John & Lee which is payable to United Animal Friends is $40 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues.

If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the 'More About Us Button' and then click on the 'Adoption Application' button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website.
