John Deere's Story

Hi there... my name is John Deere. I was born in the summer of 2025 out on a farm, alongside my brothers Holland and Kabota. It might sound like a nice place, but it was really close to a busy road, which made things pretty scary for little kittens like us.

When we were brought to the shelter, we were all very sick. I don't remember everything, but I do remember being handled a lot and having to take medicine often. The people who cared for us were kind, but it was still overwhelming-and I think that's why I can be a little shy now.

The good news is, I'm feeling so much better these days! I'm neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I tested negative for FeLV/FIV. My body is healthy now... I just need a little time for my heart to catch up.

I might be quiet at first, but I'm actually very curious. Once I feel safe, I love to play-especially with other cats. Being around my brothers and the other shelter kitties helps me feel brave. I really look up to them and would love to have a feline friend in my forever home.

I think I'd do best in a calm, peaceful place where I can take things slow and learn to trust at my own pace. If you give me time, patience, and lots of love, I might just surprise you and become more outgoing than you'd expect.

I've been through a lot for such a little guy, but I still believe there's a perfect home out there for me.

Maybe it's with you?

Adoption application:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SCPA/Cat
