John's Story
Update December 10th - John is back with us. He was adopted over a month ago to a home where he was loved but unfortunately he was not enamoured by the resident cat - an older female. After trying everything they had to make the hard choice to return John . He may be best as the only cat, he doesn't mind dogs.
Please read John's bio, requirements for adoption and if you think he would be a good fit then go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form. An adoption co ordinator will be in touch.
.
October 3rd, 2025 - John came in to our rescue several days ago when we were asked if we could take him. He had been abandonned by his previous owner when they moved out over a month ago and everyone was just feeding him. He went to our vet where he was flea treated, dewormed, received his FVCRP vaccine plus his rabies. , neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 John is a very sweet, loving young male who is so happy to be back inside with his soft bed, good food, lots of toys and cuddles. He would love to find his new forever home where he won't be left again. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy.
